This is a recording of me trying my hand with a "prepared" guitar. I wanted to create something cold and sparse, something evocative of space --frozen, barren landscapes and thousands of miles of nothing. I had wanted to amp it and mic it properly in studio, but I became so taken with the idea that I did it in my room. I recorded it on a handheld cassette-corder in three takes and then layered them over themselves on the computer later. I hate it. I never want to hear it again. It's perfect.
