I brought the casiotone for a reason, I guess. This song just sort of happened one night. I think it was inspired by the humongous moon I spotted out by the transmission tower. I recorded the basic parts quite badly in my room, and then later re-recorded and re-arranged them. It's the most layered track on the album, but i think it maintains its simplicity in the sheer fact that it is all performed on the casiotone. I sort of see the mood of the song being one of joy.. sort of coming to appreciate the beauty of the arctic environment once armed with the certainty of escape. The end is that sort of lurking phobia, that menacing nature of the place that cannot ultimately be shaken.
